Posture enhancer yoga
My name is Andrea Ott.
I started practising yoga 13 years ago.
My first class was a dynamic yoga class, where I was motivated by the challenge of the practice.
How can be held a downward-facing dog for so long? And is it really a relaxing pose?
My image of yoga has changed a lot in recent years.
Today, it is not only the implementation of the exercises that is important to me, but also how to do them.
I mean being able to be strong while moving without damaging the weak points in my body like e.g. wrists, elbows, shoulders, knees, hips…
This requires the activation of some protective functions during exercise and its system was built up and summarized by Zoltán Kádár and Anikó Heitz in the Ozoana method.
I keep my yoga classes in this spirit, complemented by these protective functions.
